mm...

I fell asleep in my chair this morning after coming home from the bank.. on that note, I've been pretty tired lately, my sugar isn't doing so well, especially not this week for some reason.

Anyway, I fell asleep in my chair.. I wake up, and its slightly dark and rainy outside. I look back at the computer, and the friggin monitor has gotten a tad darker than usual. (My monitor is CRT, so its already so dark some things I cant see).. I lean in closer to see the screen, and catch the reflection of myself in the black part of my desktop background. I then notice half a face hanging in the air behind my head... I spin around in the chair and grab for.. god knows what, and this hideous, grotesque figure grabs my neck and starts smashing my throat shut. Im yelling, kicking, attempting to get free. He turns me around to face the computer again and snaps my neck. I wake up (for real), slightly dark and rainy outside, looking at the monitor, out of breath and with my adrenaline going crazy.

That my friend is a real night terror, not to be confused with the 'I was lying in bed in the dream and I was scared' copycats. They touch you, they hurt you, and you nearly die while trying to wake up. Fun times.

Officially, I have had at least one night terror every month for the past year. According to all the research and stuff, having them that frequently is insane, and even having them after around 11-12 years of age isn't terribly common.
The most frequent night terror kids have is of, yup, a clown. I remember having one that repeated about a clown that was trapped under my heat vent in my room, and he always ripped out before I could get in the hallway. I also remember one where I was tied to a bed and this floating face hacked me up with a chainsaw. I was every bit of 8-9 when I had that. I mean, really, what kid should be having dreams like that? It's gotta be some sort of stress/environment thing or something, and even then, I shouldn't have been THAT prone to them.

Anyways, off to sleep. Hurrah hurrahhhh Ill be watching Lacuna Coil tomorrow night :D
I'm going way early to try and get some pictures with the band and all that fun stuff, they're good about hanging out outside before venues and before their sound check.

Ill update on Sunday with a bunch of "OH MY GOD THAT ROCKED" sentences, everyone miss me :P
